Diversified Heat Transfer
Diversified Heat Transfer designs, engineers and manufactures a full range of shell and tube heat exchangers to satisfy a wide range of applications. Manufactured to the most demanding standards using high temperature and corrosion resistant metals, units are available in horizontal and vertical tube designs. Optional welded tube-to-tube sheet construction provides enhanced strength and superior sealing qualities. “U” tube designs are stress relieved at the bend area. Standard shell sizes ranges from 3″ to 40″ O.D. and up to 40′ in length.
Armstrong Fluid Technology
Armstrong Fluid Technology heat exchangers support a broad range of commercial and industrial applications where fluids must be quickly heated or cooled. Armstrong heat transfer products offer dependable, efficient performance and are available in numerous designs, material and working pressures to suit the most demanding requirements.
- Plate and frame heat exchangers consist of a number of specially corrugated metal plates assembled in a frame and bolted between two pressure plates, one fixed and one adjustable. Turbulence is created in the liquid flow channels, which creates very high heat transfer coefficients and provides efficient heat transfer in a compact design.
- Brazed plate heat exchangers offer an ideal solution for refrigeration, hydronic heating, and process temperature control applications. The heat exchanger plates and connections are made from 316 stainless steel to provide improved corrosion resistance.
- Shell and tube heat exchangers are designed for durability and include a removable tube bundle as a standard feature. The U-shaped tube design provides a long service life by eliminating the effects of thermal expansion and contraction. Double-Wall tube (tube-in-tube design) heat exchangers are also available for applications where it is critical that the system prevents the mixing of internal fluids, i.e. potable water heaters.
- Tank Heaters are designed for the immersion of heating immersion heating of water in storage tanks, these units feature 0.75” (19 mm) copper tubing, brass tube supports, and a carbon steel tubesheet and tank collar.
