County of Santa Clara GSA Building

In order to comply with emission regulations, the County of Santa Clara needed to upgrade their existing Cleaver Brooks low pressure steam boiler. Since the existing boiler still had a serviceable life, San Jose Boiler Works suggested a burner retrofit rather than a full boiler system replacement. After new Webster Engineering (nonproprietary) Ultra Low NOx burner was installed, the County of Santa Clara’s boiler system met sub 9 pmm, and the retrofit was completed for half the cost of a full replacement.
